Standing on 114 acres, Ballinteskin stud is guided at €14 million, writes Shirley Busteed.

Joint agents Colliers Jackson-Stops and Savills HOK, Dublin, are handling the private sale of Ballinteskin Stud, Enniskerry, Co Wicklow. Standing on 114 acres, Ballinteskin comes to the market with a Georgian residence extending to 4,887 square feet, an American style stable block that incorporates 16 loose boxes, a courtyard, a staff apartment, a helicopter landing pad, and an indoor and outdoor arena.

Ballinteskin is a long established stud and was the breeding ground for the renowned national hunt mare, Anaglog's Daughter.

Tucked away beneath the Sugar Loaf Mountains, the house has been restored to a high standard by its current owners and now incorporates four reception rooms, a large kitchen, five bedrooms and a bathroom.

At a guide price of €14 million, the property is likely to fuel interest from those involved in the equine industry, as well as, somebody looking for a fine estate in the countryside.
