The site of the former Erin Food facility in Thurles, Co Tipperary, has been sold for over €6.4 million to a local investor by Colliers Jackson-Stops. The site extends to around 8.5 acres and is accessed via the Slievenamon Road directly off Liberty Square, the main commercial street in the town. It has 240 metres of frontage onto the Slievenamon Road and is bounded to the north by the Thurles shopping centre, which is being extended.
The property is zoned objective B1 - primarily retail and commercial development - in the Thurles Environs Development Plan 2002-2008.
