
Copenhagen was the venue last week for the annual Colliers EMEA Conference when some 400 delegates from each office in the region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) met to discuss greater cooperation in the region with a view to enhancing client service and business opportunities.
The two and a half day event concluded with a gala dinner where the Spirit of Colliers Award was presented to the person considered to have made an extraordinary contribution to the work of the region.
This year’s award went to Michael Donohoe from Colliers Jackson-Stops Dublin who chairs the EMEA Office and Business Space working group which has helped secure numerous instructions from international clients having property service requirements in the region.
Presenting the award in Copenhagen, Rob Pearman, Executive Director, Colliers EMEA said “Michael has been involved in the growing success of the Colliers EMEA Business Team project for over a decade, giving his time and efforts to build this key aspect of business development across the EMEA region and indeed extending to the 290 Colliers offices around the world. This award could not have gone to a worthier recipient. Michael is an inspiration to all in the Colliers family”.
The award was welcomed by all who know him. Declan Stone, Managing Director, Colliers Jackson-Stops said, “Michael’s actions and work embody the cooperative spirit of Colliers creating better working relationships and greater cooperation throughout our international network. We are all extremely proud of him.”
